This track represents a new chapter and a rebirth for CHÜZO. Since our last release in April 2022, much has happened in the CHÜZO camp; nonetheless; none of the betrayals, obstacles, internet fallacies, and genuine attempts to "cancel" the name of CHÜZO have succeeded in killing CHÜZO. If anything, they have only succeeded in fuelling, driving and inspiring CHÜZO to become a better version of CHÜZO. Thus; new members, new drive, new anger, new sound. New Single!
This single is a lyrically re-written and much better produced version of "Got Punched" from the first E.P. "Land of Anger". The lyrics of the original song were always meant to be disposable; why?; it was just a matter of time before a proper vocalist/singer with a proper passion for writing passionate lyrics would appear in our radar, and lo and behold, we came across and welcomed our new singer: David Alexander Vieira. We offered him a fresh canvas for this song for him to express whatever he wanted so to expose his richness and talent for lyrical content with meaning and depth.
Along with the incredible contribution of our new bass player Camilo Novoa and the fantastic drumming of drummer extraordinaire Jon Di Lalla; with the next level production wizardry of Kevin Jardine at Uplift Recordings; CHÜZO is now possessed with a new fire inside and ready to crush all opposition in our way.
This new song is our first official audio shotgun blast to all our beloved haters!
With "PAGES", we have now turned the page to a new chapter for CHÜZO. May the past be the past; burned and buried.
